Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MailRewrite collects when you use this website and its tools, and what we do with it. We have tried to keep it short and specific.

What we do not keep

We do not store the text you paste into any tool, and we do not store the results we generate. Your content is sent to our processing service, used to produce your result, and returned to your browser. It is not written to our database.

What we do keep

• Usage counts. A per-day count of how many generations you have run, so we can enforce free limits fairly.
• A device identifier. If you are not signed in, we set a random identifier in a cookie so guest limits work. It is not linked to your identity.
• A hashed IP address. We store a one-way salted hash of your IP, never the address itself, to detect automated abuse.
• Account details. If you sign in, your email address, name and profile picture as supplied by your sign-in provider.
• Billing records. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment and we store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers plus your plan status. We never see your card number.

Cookies

We use cookies for two things: keeping you signed in, and identifying your browser for guest usage limits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Service providers

• Supabase — authentication and our database.
• Stripe — subscription payments.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the free tier.
• Our AI processing service — receives your input in order to generate a result, and does not retain it for training.

Retention

Usage counts are deleted after seven days. Abuse-detection records are deleted after thirty days. Account records are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@mailrewrite.com. Deleting your account removes your profile and all associated usage records.

Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, for account holders, notify you by email.
